This song is taken from Deuteronomy 6:3-4 where God says, "Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in the land... Hear, O Israel: The Lord your God is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
